New Delhi, Nov. 3 -- India's passenger vehicle sales hit a record high in October 2025 as festive demand, Goods and Services Tax (GST) cuts, and strong rural sentiment fuelled buying momentum.
Industry estimates showed sales of around 4.7 lakh cars, sedans, and sport utility vehicles (SUVs) during the month, which is 17 per cent increase from the same period last year.
It also surpasses the previous record of 4.05 lakh units set in January 2025.
