New Delhi, Oct. 17 -- The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has reported 55 violations during 124 inspections across the National Capital Region (NCR) between September 25 and October 9, as it reviewed enforcement measures against air pollution-related non-compliance in the industrial, construction and diesel generator sectors.
At its 141st meeting of the Enforcement Task Force (ETF), held on October 16, the Commission reviewed inspection findings and proposed enforcement action against violators.
Of the 124 inspections conducted during the 15-day period, 64 pertained to diesel generator (DG) sets, 54 to industrial units and six to construction and demolition (C&D) sites. The inspections detected 35 violations in the industrial...
