Panchkula, June 21 -- With Delhi-NCR heading towards another pollution-sensitive season, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has intensified enforcement across the region, detecting 66 violations in just 15 days and recommending the closure of polluting units, the sealing of diesel generator (DG) sets, and punitive action against violators.
Haryana's NCR districts, including Gurugram, Faridabad and Sonipat, remain under close surveillance as the Commission sharpens its focus on industrial emissions, construction dust and unauthorized DG set operations.
