New Delhi, June 16 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that tax administration is no longer limited to revenue collection, and has evolved into an integrated system involving technology, law, investigation, analysis and public service, adding that regular capacity building and training of officers has become an essential aspect.
In line with the current scenario, the Delhi government is continuously working to make tax administration more effective, transparent, accountable and citizen-centric. As part of this effort, the Trade and Taxes Department is organising a comprehensive two-week GST domain training programme for officers and employees associated with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) administration.
