Patna, Nov. 7 -- Bihar Health Minister Nishant on Saturday emphasised that public awareness, early detection and timely medical intervention are crucial in the fight against cancer, saying that early diagnosis and appropriate treatment can significantly improve the chances of recovery.
On the occasion of National Cancer Awareness Day, the minister said creating awareness about cancer, dispelling misconceptions surrounding the disease and encouraging people to undergo timely screening and treatment were collective responsibilities.
