Ottawa/New Delhi, Oct. 12 -- A month after India and Canada resumed normal diplomatic ties with reinstatement of their high commissioners, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand is set to visit India and hold talks with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday.
The Canadian FM arrives tomorrow night and will meet with EAM Jaishankar on Monday noon, and later the same day with Minister Goyal.
According to a Canadian government readout, Foreign Minister Anita Anand is travelling to India, Singapore and China "from October 12 to October 17 to advance bilateral relations and cooperation with these countries as part of Canada's Indo-Pacific Strategy".
