Patna, July 27 -- Campaigning for the Bankipur Assembly by-election, scheduled for 30 July, reached its peak on Monday as both the BJP and the RJD deployed their full strength.

Former Bankipur MLA and BJP National President Nitin Nabin took charge of the party's campaign. On Monday, he led a roadshow through various parts of the constituency, accompanied by Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and other senior BJP leaders.

On Sunday, Nabin conducted a door-to-door campaign, appealing to voters to support the BJP's candidate, Neeraj Kumar Sinha. He also assured residents that he belongs to Bankipur and will continue to remain connected with the constituency.
