Patna, Nov. 4 -- The whirlwind tour and hectic campaign of the political stalwarts came to an end on Tuesday evening, encompassing 121 Assembly seats for round one of the two-phased Bihar elections.
The phase one elections would be held on November 6. Bihar has a 243-seat Assembly.
The final day saw star campaigners and senior leaders from both the NDA and the Grand Alliance making last-minute appeals through rallies, roadshows and social media campaigns to sway voters.
The private choppers of the political parties doing rounds from the state headquarters to different destinations carrying the top brass were grounded and the candidates were now busy with door-to-door contact to ensure their victory.
