Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 7 -- Cambridge University Press has published a major scholarly work that offers a comprehensive and critical analysis of subaltern livelihood and environmental struggles in Kerala since the formation of the state, situating these movements within the broader intersections of politics, ecology and economy.

Authored by noted economist and Kerala State Planning Board member Dr. R. Ravi Raman, the book brings together historical research, field-based ethnography and theoretical innovation to examine how marginalised communities have contested development, governance and resource control in the state.
