Kolkata, May 22 -- The Calcutta High Court granted interim relief to former Rajarhat-Gopalpur Trinamool Congress MLA Aditi Munshi and her husband Debraj Chakraborty on Friday.

A single bench of Justice Joy Sengupta orally directed that the duo cannot be arrested until June 19, the date fixed for the next hearing in the case implying that the police cannot take any coercive action against the couple until the next hearing.

Senior advocate and CPI (M) leader Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya appeared on behalf of the couple while the state was represented by Additional Advocate General Rajdeep Majumdar.
