Bengaluru, Aug. 4 -- The fallout of the Karnataka Cabinet expansion intensified on Tuesday after Congress MLA Yashwant Rayagouda Patil hinted at the possibility of forming a separate political outfit, raising fresh concerns for the ruling party amid growing resentment among leaders denied ministerial berths.
Patil made the remarks during a lengthy interaction with Congress Karnataka in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala, who reached out to disgruntled legislators as part of the party's efforts to contain discontent following the Cabinet reshuffle.
