Bhandara, Nov. 25 -- A 23-year-old burn patient admitted to the Bhandara District General Hospital died on Tuesday after jumping from the hospital's rooftop, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Akhil Marskolhe, a resident of Tirodi in neighbouring Madhya Pradesh(MP).
Hospital authorities said Marskolhe had been admitted two days earlier with burn injuries and was reportedly experiencing severe pain and psychological distress.
At around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, he left the ward unnoticed and reached the rooftop of the hospital building and plunged down.
