Sambhal (UP), Jan. 14 -- Sambhal district once again witnessed a major anti-encroachment drive as authorities launched a bulldozer action to clear illegal encroachment on government land. In Bichholi village, encroachments were removed from nearly 27 bighas of government land on Wednesday.
A joint team comprising four kanungos, 20 lekhpals, and a naib tehsildar reached the village, accompanied by two bulldozers. After measuring the houses built on the land, the administration immediately began demolition. The first structure to be demolished was the house of village head Atiq.
