Chandigarh, Feb. 10 -- In a major crackdown on the drug menace in Punjab, the Barnala Police on Tuesday demolished an illegally constructed property of a notorious woman drug smuggler.

The action was carried out under the ongoing "Yudh Nashe Virudh" (War Against Drugs) initiative and "Mission Prahaar," aimed at dismantling the financial backbone of the narcotics trade in the region.

The demolition took place in a settlement located behind the Rambagh area, a locality for illicit activities.
