Lucknow, Oct. 25 -- In a significant move for the second consecutive day, BSP supremo Mayawati today removed Ghaziabad district president Narendra Mohit and appointed Manoj Jatav as his replacement.
The change follows a complaint by Meerut division in-charge Vijay Singh, who alleged that Mohit had collected donations from workers for the October 9 rally, violating party directives. Tensions between the two leaders further escalated on October 23 when a hoarding of Mayawati at the Ghaziabad party office was reportedly torn down, sparking a confrontation.
On Thursday, October 23, Mayawati had also dismissed Shamsuddin, former Lucknow-Kanpur division in-charge, for failing to respond to 37 consecutive calls from her. This latest action again...
