Thiruvananthapuram, April 30 -- Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Kerala Circle has achieved a major milestone by commissioning 6,979 indigenous 4G mobile sites across the state, significantly boosting digital connectivity and strengthening self-reliant telecom infrastructure.
The large-scale rollout, built entirely on indigenous technology, marks a significant step under the Centre's Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The network has been developed in collaboration with Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) and a consortium led by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), showcasing India's growing capability in developing advanced telecom solutions.
