Bokaro, Oct. 3 -- Brajesh Mahtha, a contract worker injured in the September 28 accident at the SMS-2 department of Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL), passed away today during treatment at Bokaro General Hospital (BGH).
BSL's Head of Communications, Manikant Dhan, stated that Mahtha had been admitted to BGH with severe burn injuries. Despite exhaustive efforts by a team of expert doctors including Dr. Girija Shankar Sahu from Steel General Hospital, Rourkela, and Dr. Uday Kumar, Head of the Burn Unitat JLN Hospital, Bhilai Steel Plant Mahtha's condition could not be stabilized, leading to his demise this morning.
