New Delhi, March 10 -- Central Paramilitary Forces, including Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) are all set to get 40,000 bulletproof jackets (BPJs).

About 28,000 jackets have already been delivered while the remaining units are expected to be supplied in the next financial year in accordance with the agreed timelines between the government and the supplier.

In a statement here, the company said a major order for bulletproof jackets for India's paramilitary forces is progressing as scheduled, with a large number of the protective gear already delivered to enhance the safety and operational readiness of personnel deployed in high-risk areas.
