Aligarh, April 22 -- A 55-year-old petrol pump owner was brutally murdered in the Quarsi police station area's Chilkaura Nagariya village, police said on Wednesday.
The victim, Narottam Singh, father of a BJP Yuva Morcha local leader, was allegedly killed by an acquaintance.
According to police, the accused, identified as Kanhaiya, lured the victim to an under-construction house. Following an argument, he, along with accomplices, slit Narottam's throat.
The attackers reportedly stuffed paper into his mouth and gouged out his eyes before fleeing the scene.
