Hyderabad, Aug. 8 -- BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) today warned that his party would launch a major agitation, on the lines of the Telangana movement, if the state's legitimate rights over river waters were compromised.
Addressing media persons at his residence here, KTR questioned the Telangana government's decision to accept the agenda of the upcoming Godavari River Management Board (GRMB) meeting and demanded that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy clarify whether the government had accepted the agenda and whether they would attend the meeting.
He also sought to know what the government proposed to present before the GRMB on behalf of Telangana.
