Hyderabad, March 16 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Monday accused the Congress government in Telangana of betraying farmers and citizens by failing to implement its promised Six Guarantees.
He criticised the state for allegedly planning to allocate Rs 1000 crore to Rahul Gandhi while neglecting farmer welfare.
KTR said the BRS will raise these issues in the ongoing Assembly budget session, demanding legal backing for the Six Guarantees and full budget allocation for their implementation.
He highlighted delays in Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bharosa payments, stalled schemes for women, senior citizens, students, Scheduled Castes and Tribes, and unfulfilled job commitments.
