Hyderabad, Sept. 14 -- TPCC president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud on Monday strongly criticised the BRS over the alleged insult of Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar and accused the party of displaying an anti-Dalit mindset.
Addressing a media conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Goud said it was unfortunate that politics had to be discussed on a festival day due to the "unavoidable circumstances".
He condemned the alleged caste-based remarks against the Speaker and said the comments were made deliberately.
Goud alleged that the BRS had insulted the Dalit community during its 10-year rule and questioned the implementation of its flagship Dalit Bandhu scheme.
