Hyderabad, June 14 -- : BRS MLA and former Irrigation Minister Hasrish Rao on Saturday demanded that the Congress government in Telangana take immediate action to halt the illegal Godavari-Banakacherla link project proposed by Andhra Pradesh Government.
Addressing a press conference here after presenting a detailed PowerPoint Presentation on the project, Harish warned that the project could result in large-scale water diversion, similar to what occurred via the Pothireddypadu head regulator in the Krishna basin, posing serious risks to Telangana's irrigation and water security.
