Hyderabad, Aug. 30 -- Ahead of the Assembly and Council sessions beginning Saturday, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLAs and MLCs paid tributes at Gun Park, where party Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) launched a sharp attack on the Congress government over the fertiliser shortage and farmers' distress.

KTR said the Assembly should run for at least 15 days to comprehensively discuss issues, including the ongoing agricultural crisis, farmers' suicides, crop losses, fee reimbursement arrears, and the government's unfulfilled guarantees.

"We are ready to face any debate in the House, be it on agriculture, Kaleshwaram or any other subject. But the Congress is trying to confine the sessions to issues in its favour," he alleged.
