Patna, May 22 -- In a move aimed at accelerating rural connectivity, the Bihar Rural Roads Development Agency (BRRDA) has approved an additional withdrawal limit of Rs 73.53 crore under the Chief Minister Rural Bridge Scheme to fast-track ongoing bridge construction projects across the state.
Official sources said here Thursday that the decision is expected to boost infrastructure development in remote and flood-prone areas by ensuring seamless connectivity between villages and main roads. The initiative is being implemented by the Rural Works Department with a focus on linking far-flung villages, diara regions, and areas surrounded by rivers and streams.
