Bengaluru, Oct. 21 -- Ashwin Kannan, brother of K Aravind, the Ola Electric engineer who committed suicide on September 28, has vowed to pursue justice, saying, "I will fight it out, whatever may come."Aravind, 38, had often spoken about the toxic work culture and pressure faced by employees at the EV manufacturing company.
Aravind, who joined Ola Electric in 2022 as a homologation engineer, left behind a 28-page death note alleging harassment. A case under Section 108 (abetment of suicide) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered on October 6 against Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal and Subrat Kumar Dash, head of Vehicle Homologations and Regulations, among others.
