Hyderabad, May 13 -- Director of Sainik Welfare Department, Brigadier N R Babu, met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday and discussed various issues related to the welfare of ex-servicemen in the state.
During the meeting, Brig. Babu proposed the establishment of a Telangana Ex-Servicemen Corporation. Responding positively, the Chief Minister directed officials of the Chief Minister's Office to prepare the necessary framework and procedures for setting up the Corporation. He also instructed officials to study the functioning and operational models of similar corporations in other states before holding further discussions on the proposal.
