New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Delhi motorists are set to navigate a maze of traffic restrictions and diversions as the capital prepares to host the BRICS Summit, with more than 35 major roads and 22 key diversion points identified for regulating movement during VVIP convoys.
The three-day summit will be held at Bharat Mandapam from September 11-13, but traffic restrictions will begin with the motorcade rehearsal on Wednesday evening from 7 pm to 10 pm.
The Delhi Traffic Police has advised commuters to check routes before travelling, leave with additional time and use the Metro wherever possible.
