Los Angeles, Nov. 5 -- Oscar-winner Brendan Fraser and acclaimed actress Rachel Weisz is set to reprise their roles in a freshly imagined instalment of 'The Mummy' franchise.
The project will be helmed by filmmaking duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, collectively known as Radio Silence, the visionary directors behind 'Ready Or Not' and the revitalised 'Scream' franchise, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Producers Sean Daniel, who worked on the original trilogy and William Sherak, James Vanderbilt and Paul Neinstein of Project X Entertainment are steering the film, with David Coggeshall penning the screenplay.
