Hyderabad, April 7 -- Vice-Chancellor of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University Prof Ghanta Chakrapani and Registrar Dr L. V. K. Reddy on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla.
During the meeting, Prof Chakrapani briefed the Governor on the "Social Empowerment Week" being organised by the university to commemorate the birth anniversaries of eminent personalities.
He also explained the free education schemes being offered by the university to Adivasi and transgender students.
The officials invited the Governor to participate in the birth anniversary celebrations of B. R. Ambedkar on April 14 at the university campus and requested him to attend as the Chief Guest for the distribution of incentive fellowships to...
