Bhubaneswar, July 6 -- Brahmapur Railway Station in southern Odisha will be redeveloped into a world-class facility under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at an estimated cost of around Rs 300 crore, union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced on Monday.
Vaishnaw made the announcement after jointly flagging off the Brahmapur-Udhna (Surat) Amrit Bharat Express with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Brahmapur Railway Station. The train service has been upgraded from a tri-weekly to a daily service.
