Kochi, Aug. 28 -- There is no proposal to replace the existing E20 blended petrol with E10, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Khanna said.
Khanna said his response had been misquoted to suggest that E10 was being considered as an alternative to E20, which was not correct.
He said large-scale field experience involving millions of vehicles operating on E20 fuel for more than three years had not shown any evidence of engine damage or other concerns related to the use of E20 petrol.
