Guiyang, June 15 -- World No 1 Minakshi Hooda will headline an 18-member Indian squadat the World Boxing Cup 2026, scheduled to be held here in the People's Republic of China from June 15 to 21.
A total of 333 boxers from 44 different federations will compete in the tournament which offers ranking points, which will help towards qualification for the season-ending World Boxing Cup Finals.
The meet in Guiyang is the second World Boxing Cup of the year following the Stage 1 held in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil. Indian boxers skipped the Brazil meet but were the most successful teamin the 2025 World Boxing season, accumulating 40 medals, including 13 golds, across three tournaments, including the Finals.
