Kolkata, Sept. 10 -- The stalemate over the construction at Chingrighata of Metro's 366 mts viaduct on EM Bypass (east Kolkata) was resolved after officials of the West Bengal government and Kolkata Metro met in the city yesterday following a directive from the High Court.
Sources said today, the Kolkata Metro's construction at Chingrighata (EM Bypass) bottleneck was resolved as the Kolkata Police granted permission after officials of the Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), Kolkata Metro and state government officials met at the Metro Bhawan yesterday and resolved the impasse.
