Aizawl, April 19 -- The Lawngtlai district administration has raised concerns over the risk of illegal cross-border movement and unregulated trade along the Myanmar frontier, with Deputy Commissioner Donny Lalruatsanga flagging Hruitezawl village as a sensitive point requiring heightened vigilance.

The Deputy Commissioner, accompanied by Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) Chief Executive Member C. Lalsawmzuala, visited Hruitezawl on Saturday to assess the ground situation at what officials described as a major node of informal cross-border trade.
