Siliguri, May 15 -- District administrations across West Bengal's border areas have started coordination meetings with the Border Security Force (BSF) and state authorities to expedite the process of acquiring land for barbed wire fencing along the Indo-Bangladesh boundary in line with directions issued by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari.

A high-level meeting on the issue was held at the Malda district magistrate's office on Thursday. Chaired by the District Magistrate Rajanvir Singh Kapur, the meeting was attended by Officials of the BSF, he state land acquisition department, as also police and district administration representatives.
