Kolhapur, Sept. 28 -- Giving relief to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, the Bombay High Court circuit bench at Kolhapur refused an urgent hearing on Monday (September 28), regarding a petition filed against CEC Gyanesh Kumar and the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The Petition filed by four registered voters and residents through advocate Asim Sarode, challenged the 14 administrative orders issued by the ECI and CEC Gyanesh Kumar over the past ten months, and called for a halt to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process along with the restoration of deleted voter names.
