Mumbai, July 30 -- The Bombay High Court on Wednesday questioned the Food and Drug Administration's enforcement drive and directed it to immediately inspect canteens and eateries in government establishments, including the High Court and the state secretariat.
Acting on the court's directive, an FDA team on Thursday inspected food outlets inside the Bombay High Court premises. During the inspection, officials found that one canteen was operating without FDA registration. A notice has been issued to the operator, officials said.
