Mumbai, Sept. 2 -- The Bombay High Court on Wednesday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to undertake a comprehensive investigation into the death of Disha Salian, former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in suburban Malad in June 2020.
A bench headed by Justice Sarang Kotwal passed the order on a petition filed by Salian's father, Satish Salian, seeking an independent probe into his daughter's death and alleging that she had been assaulted and murdered.
The court directed the senior CBI officer in charge of its Mumbai bureau to appoint an investigating officer, who would record the petitioner's statement and register an FIR.
