Meerut, April 1 -- A bomb threat at the Meerut court complex caused panic on Wednesday, leading to the immediate evacuation of the entire compound.
Authorities swiftly deployed heavy police forces and sealed the area to ensure public safety.
According to sources, an unidentified individual made a phone call threatening to blow up the court premises.
Upon receiving the alert, police officials rushed to the scene along with bomb disposal squads and dog units. All buildings within the complex were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Security has been significantly tightened, and entry into the campus has been completely restricted. A thorough search operation is currently underway to detect any possible threat.
