Dhanbad, Feb. 25 -- Panic gripped the court complex in Dhanbad on Wednesday after information about the presence of a bomb triggered a major security alert on the premises, police said.
Soon after receiving the information, police and security forces rushed to the spot and began evacuating the area as a precautionary measure. All lawyers, court staff and visitors were safely escorted out of the complex.
Security agencies launched an intensive search operation across the court premises and nearby areas. Bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs were deployed to thoroughly examine the site.
