New Delhi, March 2 -- Panic gripped parts of the national capital after bomb threat messages were reported from three schools on Monday morning.

Those who received the threats include Army Public School, Mira Public School, and Salman Public School.

Following the alerts, local police, along with bomb disposal squads and other emergency response teams, rushed to the campuses.

Students and staff were immediately evacuated as a precautionary measure, and thorough searches were carried out.

Officials said this is not the first time that schools in Delhi have received such threats.

Similar hoax bomb scare incidents have been reported in the past as well, causing disruption and anxiety among parents and students.
