Bokaro, Oct. 28 -- A 25-year-old youth was shot dead following a minor dispute near Gaighat in the Adarsh Colony area under Chas police station limits of Bokaro district, Jharkhand.
Police identified the deceased as Ajay Yadav alias Sonu (25), son of social worker and former mayoral candidate Laxmi Narayan Yadav, a resident of Yaduvansh Nagar in Chas.
According to the police, the incident took place last evening after an argument broke out between Sonu and a youth named Balram Tiwari. Witnesses said that the dispute, which began earlier in the evening, escalated when Balram returned to the spot near the Shiva temple at Gaighat with a few associates.
