Nahan, March 29 -- A potentially catastrophic industrial accident was averted on Sunday morning after a boiler exploded at Him Safety Glass Industry in the Kala Amb industrial area of Sirmaur district.
Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Verma informed that a mishap occurred around 7:30 a.m. during the factory's morning shift when regular glass manufacturing operations were underway. According to preliminary reports, a sudden technical fault triggered the explosion, resulting in a loud blast that caused panic within the premises.
The force of the explosion reportedly blew off the boiler's upper metal cover, which landed on a nearby road.
