Sangrur (Punjab), July 19 -- The body of a 30-year-old man was found in roadside bushes near Bishanpura village in Sangrur district on Saturday, prompting police to investigate whether the death was the result of an accident, homicide or natural causes.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sham Singh, in-charge of Sunam Udham Singh Wala police station, said police reached the spot after receiving information about a body lying in bushes along the Sunam-Patiala road, near a hotel opposite Bishanpura village.
The body was taken into custody and shifted to the mortuary of Shaheed Udham Singh Civil Hospital, Sunam, for post-mortem examination, he said.
