Mumbai, April 14 -- Mumbai Municipal Corporation is set to launch a pilot project under which 50 young individuals from the 'Gen Z' age group (18-25 years) will be appointed as 'Civic Fellows'.
These fellows will be tasked with keeping a real-time track of issues such as potholes, sanitation, and shortcomings in public transport.
The initiative aims to bring a fresh and innovative approach to addressing urban challenges. BJP corporator Tejinder Singh Tiwana proposed the plan, emphasizing the need for active monitoring of key civic concerns like road infrastructure, waste management, and cleanliness.
