Hyderabad, May 27 -- Hyderabad-based deep-tech aerospace startup BluJ Aerospace on Tuesday announced the unveiling of Gen #2, the first commercial-grade aircraft developed on its VANTIS latform architecture, marking a significant step in India's advanced air mobility and heavy-payload logistics ambitions.
In a release, the company said Gen #2 is currently undergoing active flight testing after four years of in-house research and development.
The aircraft follows Gen #1, which BluJ described as India's first publicly demonstrated 500-kg class electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
