Jaunpur (UP), Nov. 26 -- Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai today said that employees, teachers and BLOs are bearing the brunt of the government's "repressive policies" and the Election Commission's negligence.
Rai accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government and the Election Commission of exerting pressure to cut votes of backward castes in the name of SIR. "Due to this oppression, pressure and stress, teachers are being forced to commit suicide. This is extremely shameful," he alleged.
