Khammam, Aug. 30 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Saturday said Booth Level Agents (BLAs) play a crucial role in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and in protecting the constitutional right to vote.
Addressing mandal-level Congress BLAs at Janakipuram village in Bonakal mandal of Khammam district, Bhatti appreciated their services for more than 40 days while setting aside their personal and family responsibilities.
He urged the BLAs to remain vigilant during the SIR process and ensure that details of deleted, deceased and shifted voters were accurately recorded.
