Bhopal, June 7 -- A woman leader of the ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh was killed allegedly due to an accidental shot fired from her own licensed gun during a dispute outside her house in Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh in the early hours of Sunday.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Sangeeta Rajak (38). The incident occurred at around 1.30 AM in the Old Shobhapur area under the jurisdiction of Ranjhi police station.

As per Police Station House Officer (SHO) Umesh Golhani, initial investigations revealed that a dispute was taking place outside Sangeta Rajak's house, and her husband and brother-in-law had gone there.
